The Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica "Francesco Severi" (INdAM) provides funding for the following activities
- INdAM-COFUND: seven Post-Doc positions were funded by INdAM in the years 2012β2017.
- INdAM-DP-COFUND fellows: two PhD fellowships are entirely funded by INdAM through a UE programme. The recipients are Ulrich v. d. Ohe and Remi Bignalet.
- INdAM Visiting professors: this is a one month position fully funded by INdAM for professors that do not have a position in Italy but teach a course in the local PhD School. This position has been held by Prof. J.K. Verma (IIT Bombay) 1-30/5/2-18.
- Travel expenses: many members received support from INdAM, through its Research Groups, for participation in conferences and workshops.
- Conferences: Several conferences hosted by the department of Mathematics have received support for attracting young participants, see https://sites.google.com/view/alg-comb-genova-2019/home and http://www.dima.unige.it/ant/giornate_tdn1/index.html
